The AMA (American Marketing Association) defines a brand as a “name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers.
The Goal in Branding
The idea of branding is to create an image that resonates with your audience. An effective brand is consistent in its delivery. A good brand doesn’t just get your audience to choose you over your competition, rather, gets your audience to see you as the only one that provides a solution to their problem.

Brand Design & Packaging
Your company image is all about the appearance of your packaging (the vehicles that reflect your company’s brand). A brand design can either have a positive or negative impact on a purchaser. A positive impression can influence a purchaser to buy, whereas a negative impression can detour a potential customer.

The first step in brand strategy is to define your brand’s objectives. Once you’ve identified what you’re trying to achieve the next step is to decide on the vehicles you’ll use and the frequency and consistency of the delivery throughout the life of your business.
The TruInteractive Brand
With the Tru brand, we’ve started by defining our name. Our name comes from the founder, Truman Hedding, who believes in offering a “True” service of design and marketing to businesses built on the philosophy of treating each clients’ product or service as if it was their own. The + (plus) sign in our TruInteractive logo is the symbol for “true”. The color orange is exuberant, fun, and vital which is synonymous with our team. Our website uses colors from our color palette and fonts from our style guide. The delivery of our brand is consistent and timed (both locally and nationally). We position ourselves as a young and energetic company constantly seeking the “true” way to deliver results for our clients.
